ENGINEERS have dug a gaping hole in a Headington road to repair a cable.
Energy provider SSE dredged up a trench in Warneford Lane, flanked by barriers and a guard, blocking off a stretch of footpath and parking spaces by South Park.
A spokesman said work should be finished by Monday and power is not affected.
