VEGAN Baileys, cheesecake and chocolate bunnies will be among the delights on offer at Oxford Vegan Festival this Saturday.
The day of vegetable veneration at the city's Kassam Stadium will bring scores of stalls, a vegan bar, patisserie and packed programme of events.
The festival is one of a series of events around the country organised by charity Farplace Animal Shelter as a way of raising funds, bringing vegans together and encouraging non-vegans to sample the lifestyle and learn more about making the switch.
As well as a myriad of stalls selling hot and cold food, cosmetics, clothing and crafts, there will also be five cooking demonstrations, film screenings and talks.
Figures released by The Vegan Society last year showed there were more than half a million vegans in the UK - an increase of 360 per cent from 2006 to 2016.
Festival organiser Kerri Turner said: "The festival is a great event for everyone, and a great place for vegans to meet, learn more about products and projects, and stock up on supplies and treats.
"But non-vegans are also very welcome, and we hope to see people come along and try vegan foods, drinks and other products, and learn more about living a life free from animal produce."
The Oxford Vegan Festival runs from 10.30am to 5pm. Tickets cost £3, under-16s get in free.
