Fifty-four people in Oxfordshire have been arrested for drink-driving this month.
Since December 1, Thames Valley Police has been stopping drivers as part of the force’s ‘Is it worth the risk?’ campaign.
The campaign aims to stop people driving under the influence of drink or drugs over the festive period and will end on New Year’s Day.
Police said they did not yet have a breakdown of how many of the 54 people arrested have been charged or released.
