OXFORD City secured a gold and a bronze medal in the British Masters Cross Country Relay Championships at the Moorways Stadium, Derby.
Roy Treadwell won gold for the fastest leg by a vet 65 athlete, recording 12mins 26secs for the 3.1km course.
City’s John Exley was the second quickest in the age group, clocking 12.44 on leg two, but their lack of a third runner meant they did not qualify for the team event There was, however, a team bronze for City in the vet 55-64 category.
Bob Wyatt (12.10), Stewart Thorp (11.40), Richard Grant (12.23) and Phil Huxley (12.02) secured a third-place finish in a total time of 48.15.
Staffordshire Moorlands won in 46.23, with Salford Harriers taking second in 47.53.
