Headington Amateurs closed the gap on Rayners Lane at the top of Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East to two points with a 1-0 home win over Didcot Town Res.
Ben Green drilled home the winner in the 78th minute.
Rayners Lane were held to a surprise 3-3 draw at home to Henley Town, who were picking up just their second point of the season.
Henley had led 3-1 with goals from Michael Williams, Tom Sheppard and Prince Alozi, but Rayners hit back with Mark Woolley, Lawrence Yaku and Paul Leslie their marksmen.
Mark Avery grabbed a late winner in Chinnor’s 2-1 home victory over Easington Sports.
Ryan Chapman’s opener for Chinnor was cancelled out by Luke Jones.
Hook Norton were unable to stop leaders Brimscombe & Thrupp marching on at the top of Division 1 West as they slumped 3-1 at home.
Mark Odom scored for Hook Norton, but Ben Jones, an Adam Snook penalty and Michael Beckingham gave Brimscombe the points.
Carterton crashed to a 6-1 defeat at Wootton Bassett Town.
Mark Barnes (3), Shaun Terry (2) and Matt Bennett netted for the hosts as Pawel Bronk provided Carterton’s sole reply.
Clanfield came away with a point following a goalless draw at Fairford Town.
SUBSTITUTE James Glover grabbed Letcombe’s late winner in a 2-1 victory at Woodley Town in the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup fourth round.
Adam Bruce had slotted an early opener for Letcombe, but Ben Clarke equalised after the break, before Woodley had Warren Baxter sent off.
