LONDON Welsh hooker Neil Briggs has been charged with punching or striking an opponent during Sunday’s Aviva Premiership defeat to Harlequins at Oxford’s Kassam Stadium.
Briggs faces a hearing tonight for the alleged punching or striking, contrary to law 10.4(a), on Harlequins player Sam Smith following a report from the independent citing officer John Byett.
The case will be heard at the offices of Russell Jones and Walker Solicitors starting at 5.45pm by a panel of Jeremy Summers (chair), Dr Julian Morris and Philip Evans.
