JON-PAUL Pittman will be available for selection against Chesterfield tomorrow after more than three months out with a shoulder injury.
The striker underwent surgery following a dislocation at Accrington Stanley in December, but has returned to full training.
U’s assistant manager Mickey Lewis is delighted to have Pittman back for the final eight games of the season.
He said: “JP looks really sharp. Alasdair (Lane, fitness coach) and Andy (Lord, physio) have done a lot of work with him.
“He gives us something totally different, even coming off the bench he is a handful and had a good spell before he got injured.”
