Divisions 6-10

ROB Keat starred with bat and ball as Didcot 2nd defeated Wolverton Town 2nd by 94 runs in Division 6.

Keat top-scored with 76 not out in Didcot’s 191-7, with Sam Couldrick adding 72 and Philip Gammage taking 3-71.

Keat (3-22) and Joey Edwards (3-36) then combined to dismiss Wolverton for 97.

Manzoor Abbasi hit an unbeaten 80 as East Oxford 2nd came within a whisker of beating Bicester & North Oxford 2nd after a great chase in Division 7.

Atif Liaqat (4-40) and Urfan Ahmed (3-12) helped bowl Bicester out for 141, despite Dave Clark’s 41 and Haris Naeem’s 36.

Abbasi and Muzamil Rehman (32) then dominated the scoring as East Oxford were left stuck on 134-3 after their rain-reduced reply of 25 overs.

Robert Shrimpton’s 5-21 set Cumnor 3rd en route to a four-wicket victory over Kingston Bagpuize 2nd in Division 8.

Shrimpton starred as Bagpuize crumbled to 66 all out before Cumnor limped to 67-6.

Oxfordshire ladies’ player Lucy Gladdy took 3-4 as Tiddington 3rd routed Aston Rowant 4th by 157 runs in Division 9.

Gladdy and Ben Smith (3-14) did most of the damage in Rowant’s 69 all out, which featured an innings of 39 from Ben Knowler.

Earlier, Pete King (52), Paul Gladdy (43) and Phil Manning (41) led the way in Tiddington’s 226-8, while Sasha White took 3-24.
