Amin Rafiq (4-21) and Luke List (3-24) proved too good for most of the Banbury 3rd batsmen, who were all out for just 81 at Oxford Downs 2nd.

The hosts also found runs hard to come by, but Will Watts’s 34 saw them to 83-6 in the 25th over.

The visitors were 105-2 from 24 overs in pursuit of Shipton’s 177 all out when the players were forced from the field. Kris Jones made 55.

Earlier Dan Green (5-39) and Martin Anson (3-12) had done most of the damage, while former Cheltenham Town defender Shane Duff had top-scored with 67.
