WHITE Hart Marauders were crowned OURFC Invitational Sevens champions after defeating hosts Oxford University in the cup final.
Marauders, an experienced national outfit, bagged a late try to run out 24-10 winners in the rain at Iffley Road.
Worcester Warriors lost 24-14 to Marauders in their semi-final, but recovered to beat Leeds Rugby Academy 22-7 in the third-place play-off.
Oxford University upset Leeds 24-14 in their last-four clash, while Bath University finished fifth after coming from behind to defeat Oxford Rugby League 26-14.
The tournament was preceded by an exhibition contest between Norway and Oxford University’s women, with the visitors running out 33-7 winners.
