SAM Hollingshead took 7-56 as Tiddington dismissed Wolverton Town for only 110 and so clinched a victory that took them above their opponents in the table.

Hollingshead now has three five-wicket hauls this summer.

Tiddington had made 158 all out, of which Will Cooper contributed 43 and Nick Pykett 40. Kieran Lampard took 6-63.

Henry Pickford’s match-winning spell of 6-19 saw Abingdon Vale beat Bletchley Town.

Pickford’s took three wickets in one over as Town fell for 62.

Earlier, Graham Charlesworth (64no) scored more than the entire visiting team as Vale recovered from 100-9 to 142 all out.

An unbroken partnership between Adam Mould (106no) and Ryan Chapman (35no) swept Bledlow Village to 187-2 and an eight-wicket win at Aston Rowant 2nd.

Rowant had a century maker of their own in Tom Condon (103no), but his efforts and those of Chris Eaton (46no) in taking the hosts to 186-4 proved insufficient.

Challow & Childrey’s Pat Bryan made 101 not out at Cumnor, with Ryan Gordon (46) helping them to 224-8.

But it proved in vain as the leaders eased to 226-5 through Adam Cook (69no), John Williams (53) and Matt Lake (34).

James Coleman claimed 4-26 and Harry Walters picked up 4-58 as Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts recovered from 94-6 to reach 193-9 from their 53 overs at Cropredy.

Chris Day (61) was the mainstay of their innings.

Ed Somerton then hit 60 as the home side had a go after tea, but Tauqeer Ahmed’s 3-28 and some tight bowling all round left them hanging on at 169-9.
