AFC Hinksey are to move out of Oxford to groundshare with Abingdon Town at their Culham Road ground.
The nomadic Hinksey outfit, who play in Division 1 East, shared with Headington Amateurs at their Barton Village Road ground last season.
The ambitious club say they are making the move so they can play in the Floodlit Cup this coming season and be able to gain promotion to the Premier Division, in which Abingdon play.
It will also allow them to play in the FA Carlsberg Vase and FA Cup in 2014-15.
Hinksey secretary Stuart Parsons said: “We may be moving to play in Abingdon, but we will be trying to stick to our roots and most of our players will still be Oxford-based.
“We also think we'll be able to attract more players with the possibility of promotion.”
