OXFORD United will wear their completed 2013-14 home shirt for the first time tomorrow after announcing a sponsorship deal with Animalates.

The team have played the first three pre-season games in plain shirts, but the new logo will be worn against Birmingham City.

Animalates is an exercise programme for children aimed at improving posture and overall conditioning which is due to be rolled out in primary schools across the county.

U’s chairman Ian Lenagan, who is an investor in the company, said: “They fit very well with everything we are trying to achieve at the football club in style, community involvement and the values of exercise for young people.”

United’s away shirt has not yet been launched, but will be sponsored by Witney-based Isinglass Consulting, winners of a prize draw in May.

The scheme was aimed at finding a sponsor for both shirts, but failed to hit United’s minimum target.
