Polly Hitchings, from King Alfred’s Academy Wantage, shone in the bar event in the British Challenge Cup Espoir Competition in Guildford.
The 13-year-old came eighth out of a field of 58 competitors.
This was on the back of gaining a first place overall in the London team championships last month.
