ARON Wint scored a fortunate equaliser two minutes into injury time to give Solihull Moors a point and deny Oxford City a first win of the season last night.

Mike Ford’s side trailed early in the second half, but hit back through Mike Symonds and Chris Willmott to lead 2-1 with two minutes remaining.

But Wint’s last-gasp deflected effort saved the hosts.

A far from inspiring display from both sides only came to life in the second half after neither keeper was forced into a save in the opening period.

Omar Bogle blazed over for the hosts, before City’s Steve Basham had a shot blocked.

However, on 56 minutes Solihull went ahead when Bogle broke through to net.

City levelled on 72 minutes when Solihull failed to clear their lines and Symonds picked his spot to score.

Willmott scrambled in from a Tom Winters free-kick with two minutes left to seemingly give City the points.

But Wint’s injury-time shot took a wicked deflection past Mark Scott to earn a point.
