“We’ve had lots of wins and podiums and we’ve proven SWR is a good, consistently competitive team.”

In the first race, Graham held second off the line and initially stayed with eventual champion Jake Hughes while remaining one second clear of his pursuers. Barlow finished 13th.

Graham was ninth in the second race, before he finished seventh in the final race of the series.

  • FERGUS Walkinshaw praised his FW Motorsport team for rebuilding his gearbox and engine after a disaster in qualifying at Silverstone.

He said: “Considering we didn’t have a working car to race we have to be happy with 14th and 12th place finishes.”
