FOUR tries from wing Ben Bodinham helped Gosford All Blacks crush Phoenix 57-0 and go top of the table.

Gosford opened the scoring with a second-minute try from fly half Harry Sutton, converted by Tim Ellis.

They led 31-0 at the break after Bodinham (2), centre Stuart Waknell and Sutton went over, with Ellis converting two.

Flanker Conor Hatton, Bodinham (2) and replacement Chris Bennett completed the try tally, Ellis converting three.

Bicester slipped to a 31-15 defeat at Hungerford.

The home side went ahead with two penalties from Bradley Clough, while Bicester had centre Stuart James yellow-carded.

Scrum half Mike Harris scored a try for Bicester, but Kieran Joseph, Max Andrews and Harry Smith went over in reply, Clough converting one.

Full back Steve Miller and prop Dave Behan added further Bicester tries before Clough’s third penalty and Dominic Taylor’s interception score sealed it.

Chipping Norton lost 38-17 at home to morning leaders Tadley.
