MARTIAL arts expert Steve Simmons is no dummy - he's just kickboxed his way to his second World Championship title.
Simmons, 44, fought off tough competition to win the freestyle martial arts kickboxing championship in Malta.
He trains five times a week at the Witney Martial Arts Centre and dedicates his spare time to coaching youngsters in the sport.
He said: "I had a great championships and was chuffed to bring home the title again.
"I've been in the sport for 25 years and am still enjoying great success."
His medal will be vying for space in his crowded trophy cabinet. He won the same title in 2002, was European champion in 2003 and is the undefeated British champion.
He has been a member of the Great Britain squad for six years.
When he is not competing himself, he is either coaching or taking youngsters to competitions around the country.
The father-of-four, who lives in central Oxford, added: "I love the sport. It keeps me fit and I love coaching others."
