A GLAMOUR tie at home to Chelsea is on the cards if Oxford United’s fairytale FA Youth Cup run can continue tonight.
The U’s are enjoying their best run in the competition for a decade and host Cardiff City in the fourth round (7).
The game was scheduled for the Kassam Stadium, but was switched to Didcot Town due to United’s FA Cup replay against Charlton last night.
The winners will host Chelsea, finalists in three of the last four seasons, in the fifth round.
Chris Allen, United’s youth team coach, said: “It would be good if it happened. These are the things you look forward to, but I’m speaking ahead of myself – there’s still a game to go.”
United have already upset one Premier League side, winning 3-1 at Swansea City in the third round last month.
