Six Bells C were crowned Kidlington Indoor League champions in dramatic fashion after claiming a 2-1 victory over title rivals North Oxford Conservative Club with the last stick of the match.

With the first leg tied 14-14 and the Six Bells edging the second 18-17, North Oxford set 20 in the decider.

Needing five to take victory, anchor man Alan Goodgame hit the first four, before striking the ceiling with his fifth, but was then on target with his last stick to secure victory and the title.

Deddington lifted the Banbury Indoor League’s Neil West Memorial Cup for the third successive year with a 2-0 win over Easington in the final.
