ABINGDON Conservative Club A continued their relentless march to the Gentworks Oxford & District League Premier Division title when they came from behind to win 4-2 at home to New Club A.
David Baker took the first two frames – the first of them on a respotted black – for the Division 1 visitors against Michael Bennett.
But Karl Walker, helped by a break of 48, and Paul Chester defeated Ian Gee and Alan Mander respectively to see the leaders home.
