DIVISIONS 4-6
MARTIN Shepherd blasted 131 not out as Division 4 leaders Wootton & Boars Hill amassed an imposing 282-5 at home to Swinbrook.
Damian Wiskin contributed 83 before embarking on a miserly spell of 5-12, which saw Swinbrook crumble to just 125 in reply.
Marcham’s Neil Patel took 6-20, including a hat-trick, as hosts Deddington stuttered to 139 all out.
Despite Patel’s efforts, this total was enough for a home win as the visitors were shot out for 112, Ramesh Chennagri weighing in with 4-24.
Oxford Rescue & Cassington have withdrawn from Division 5 and folded due to a lack of players.
An unbeaten eighth-wicket partnership of 62 from Jake Souch (49no) and Andy Walker saw Stanton Harcourt reach the 132 runs needed to beat Uffington.
Darren Gordon rekindled memories of his big-hitting exploits of 2013, plundering the Dorchester attack for 96 in Kilkenny’s 262-5.
Steve McComb stroked a handy 61, but the hosts’ response fell well short at 171-4.
Hanney head up Division 6 after a one-wicket success at Great Horwood 2nd.
Set 123, Alex McCarthy hit the penultimate ball of the match for four to win it.
In a classic at Westbury 2nd, the home side struggled to 97 all out.
However this proved just enough as four wickets apiece from Paul Gilbey (4-37) and George Stapleton (4-29) left Matthew Harris stranded on 39 and Shrivenham all out for 96.
