Romain Grosjean says it will be hard to leave Lotus as he prepares for his last race with the Enstone-based team tomorrow.

The Frenchman will move to Haas F1 for 2016 after spending the last four seasons with Lotus.

Grosjean could still secure tenth place in the championship and he is hoping to make it a weekend to rememeber at the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi.

He said: "It’s a special one because it’s my last one with the team after ten years at Enstone and it’s an important moment in my career, “It’s going to be hard to leave after the race, but first of all I want to make it a good weekend we can remember and enjoy.”

Lotus are also in line to finish sixth in the constructor standings.

Grosjean added: “It’s important to secure sixth in the championship and we’ll focus on doing that.”

Williams duo Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas hope to emulate their podium heroics from 12 months ago.

Brazilian Massa and teammate Bottas finished second and third at the Yas Marina circuit last year.

And after the Grove-based team secured third in the constructors championship a fortnight ago, Massa is now aiming to end the year on a high.

He said: “I really hope we can have a similar performance as we had last year because the car was really very strong.”
