DAN White hit a faultless 100 not out in Hook Norton’s home clash with Great Horwood 2nd.
But the heavens soon opened and the Division 5 clash was abandoned.
Hooky amassed 234-5 and Great Horwood were 22-1 when the rain came.
Every match in Division 6 and Division 7 was abandoned, but in Division 8, the target score method allowed Chadlington 2nd to wrap up a 74-run win at home to Sunningwell 2nd.
James Smith hit a brilliant 96 as Chadlington racked up an impressive 197-7 in the extremely tough conditions, Colin Thorpe taking 4-27 for the visitors.
With a rain intervention, Sunningwell’s target was revised to 135 from 25 overs, but they fell to 61 all out as veteran Glenn McCallum took 3-24 and 13-year-old George Hill starred with 4-8.
Dorchester 2nd ran out 78-run winners at home to Marcham 2nd.
Ian Ferris hit 55 and Chris Rudling 35 as Dorchester posted 179-7, Gary Butler taking 3-56 for the visitors.
Lucas Pugh then claimed 4-23 and Tom Ferris 3-20 as Marcham slumped to 101 all out in reply.
In Division 9, Chesterton beat visitors Hanney 2nd by eight wickets.
Hanney made 86-7 in a reduced 25 overs, Philip Austin hitting 53 not out and Darren Trinder taking 3-7.
Chesterton needed 21 overs to reach the target, and, helped by Adrian Brooker’s 33 not out, they won by eight wickets at 87-2.
Kennington 2nd beat hosts Deddington 2nd by 12 runs on the target score method.
They posted 104-8 in the bowler friendly conditions, but chasing a revised target of 100 in 42 overs, Deddington fell for 88 as John Williams took 4-40 and Altaf Ali 3-10.
