PAULINE Withey led the way as Oracle whitewashed Masons A 6-0 in the Premier Division of the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League, writes PETE EWINS.
Withey totalled 10,980 with breaks of 6,450 and 4,530.
Oracle’s other singles winners were Ian Gordon (7,960, break 7,850), Brian Rose, who beat his brother Dave 5,400-4,080, and Steven Sheard (12,240, break 10,030).
Withey & Gordon (6,510) and Rose & Sheard (9,050) then took the pairs.
Leaders Vikings A stayed in front with a 6-0 win of their own over Gladiators B.
Division 2 pacesetters Gladiators A won 4-2 at home to West Oxford Democrats Club.
Bob Pincombe, Paul Butcher and Dave Jarman won the first three singles for the hosts before Richard Garrett (5,610) made it 3-1. The pairs were shared.
Masons B registered their first win, beating Vikings B 5-1. Grant Johnson (6,960) starred, while Sean Stratford (5,640, break 4,040) saved the whitewash for Vikings.
