OXFORD driver Jason Plato failed to secure a top-ten finish in the penultimate round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone.
After finishing 23rd and 15th in the first two races, Plato’s Subaru was involved in a collision with Stephen Jelley’s Ford and Colin Turkington’s BMW in the final race.
Ash Sutton and Turkington are favourites to vie for the title at Brands Hatch in two weeks.
