Oxford City's Hawtin sisters excelled again at the second round of the Chiltern Cross Country League at Horspath Road.

In a field of 76, City's under 13 girls extended their lead in the race for the team title as they were led home by Lauren Hawtin, who finished second.

Imogen Kempton, Imogen van Zyl and Rebecca Byren all finished in the top six, with Hannah Byren (26th), Jess Anstice (27th) and Elissa Clarke (28th) completing the team.

City now lead the table by 43 points after two rounds.

Melissa Hawtin again reigned supreme in the under 15 girls' race as she cruised to victory.

She was followed home by Ellie Clarke-Jacques in fourth and Jade Walker in sixth, while Hannah Sangan finished 32nd to put City into second place in the table - five points behind Bedford & County.

In the boys' races, Josh Tack finished tenth and Jamie Unwin 20th in the under 13 age group, while Robbie Keeping improved on his previous match to cross the line in 21st spot.
