Harwell Village stretched their lead at the top of Division 1 of the North Berks League with a 2-0 success at Marcham, with goals from Lewis Maciak and Alan Bertrum.

Although Harwell lead by four points from Saxton Rovers, though they have played three more games.

Ardington & Lockinge beat Wootton & Dry Sandford 3-2, with Gareth Fenton (2) and Chris Whitworth on target. Wootton's scorers were Adam Brooks and Tom Srawley.

Lambourn Sports eased to a 4-0 win at Steventon with Darren Jones (2), Adrian Mooney and Terry Wood on target.

In Division 3, leaders Ardington & Lockinge Res surged further ahead with a 6-1 victory over Grove Rangers Res.

Johnny James scored for Grove, but Kevin Pryde, Sam Charles and Chris Pettis all netted twice for Ardington.

Benson Lions moved up to second with a 4-1 win over Stanford-in-the-Vale.

Rob Simpson scored a penalty, with Liam Wilkinson, Rob Gray and Dave Arscott also on target. Adam Clay replied.

In Division 4, Hanney United hammered Uffington United 5-2.

Nick Clinch hit a hat-trick, with others coming from Mick Davidson and David Laye.

Ian Moore and Stuart Burson hit back.

Meanwhile, Childrey reached the second round of the War Memorial Cup with a 6-4 extra-time win against Didcot Casuals.

Childrey's scorers were Michael Cannings (2), Wayne Hogan, Neil Smith, Jason Kendall and Alan Donnelly.

Jake Chaffey, Lee Newport, Jamie Newport and Tom Fisher replied.

In the Nairne Paul Cup first round, holders Wootton & Dry Sandford Res lost 2-1 at home to Faringdon Town Res, with Jon Fisher replying.

Drayton Res came from behind to win 2-1 at Harwell Village Res.

Kevin Cox opened the scoring for Harwell before Ian Oram and Ben Taboada hit back.

They will meet Shrivenham A who beat Marcham Res 4-0, with goals from Neil Sutton, Harry Heath, Matt Howe and Danny Da Cova.
