EDDIE Pepperell will hope to build on a strong return when he gets underway at the Dutch Open tomorrow.

The Frilford Heath member has finished ninth at the Italian Open and 22nd at the Soudal Open this month, having previously last finished a tournament in December, when he was 17th at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa.

Pepperell has had some impressive displays in recent years at the Dutch Open, finishing as high as third, fourth, fifth and sixth.

In 2017, when he finished tied for third, Pepperell was 13-under par and just two shots behind winner Romain Wattel.

Following the Dutch Open, Pepperell is then next in action at the Porsche European Open, which gets underway in Germany on May 31.
