OXFORD United boss Liam Manning says the club still needs ‘two or three’ signings after an impressive showing in the transfer window so far.
With half a dozen new faces already, it opens the question as to where the U’s head coach still wants additions.
In a similar vein to how Fin Stevens will provide competition for Sam Long at right back, an alternative option on the left-hand side is likely to be an area of interest.

With Steve Seddon’s loan move to Burton Albion finally announced, having been spotted on trial with the club, it leaves a space for someone to battle with Ciaron Brown for the left back slot.
A more attack-minded option is the most plausible, especially if Manning is to use a three-man defence with wing backs at all next season.
United currently boast four players who feature mostly on the wing – Marcus Browne, Tyler Goodrham, Josh Murphy and Yanic Wildschut.
The need for additional numbers is evident, and although Billy Bodin, James Henry and Ruben Rodrigues can also play wide, it is in a central area where they will most likely feature.
Finally, even with Mark Harris’ arrival, don’t be surprised if Manning goes for another striker.
Sam Baldock and Gatlin O’Donkor are the only other centre forwards, yet Harris’ versatility means he may well spend parts of the season out wide.
