Berinsfield ABC kick off the amateur boxing season when they stage the first of two dinner tournaments in consecutive months.
The first event, at the Berinsfield Community Association on Friday, October 30, is a 12-bout bill.
Chief coach Mel Corrigan explained: “We are continually gaining new recruits through the doors of the gym and that adds to our pool of talent.
“A few of the lads who started learning the ‘noble art’ last season are now ready for the ring and will be having their debut on the show.
“And of course the more experienced members of the club will be going through their paces looking to improve on what was achieved in the previous campaign.”
