OXFORD City Midnight Stars Ladies boasted three hat-trick heroines as they avenged last season’s defeat by Telford with an emphatic 9-3 victory in Shropshire.
Sarah Poulter, Amy Hadden and Maria Weiss all fired trebles for Oxford as they made a flying start to the season.
Netminder Beverley Kellond was in fine form for Stars as Telford rained in 40 shots.
Stars’ next game is against Oxford University at Oxford Ice Rink on Sunday, November 22 (5.40pm).
