Oxford Harlequins Under 9s fly to Venice on Friday for an international tour.
The squad of nine boys and one girl will be hosted by Vicenza RFC and play a series of matches against them and Padova.
Quins’ youngsters will be greeted by dignitaries from the mayor’s office in Vicenza and have been given the ‘freedom of the city’ for the weekend, with free access to all the local attractions.
The tour was organized by former Oxford resident, David Lind, who is now living in Vicenza and coaching at the club.
