Adderbury Park held off a tremendous fightback from Chadlington before triumphing 4-3 in a Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division thriller.

The game looked over as Adderbury took a 4-1 lead, but a double from Dan Cleevely set up a grandstand finish.

Goals from Neil Skidmore and Gary Crook gave Adderbury a 2-0 lead at the break.

Dan Godden clawed one back, but a penalty double from Gary Crook saw Adderbury take a 4-1 lead.

And it looked all over for Chadlington, only for Cleevely’s haul to set up the finale.

Charlie Bough notched a double for Rover Cowley in their 5-0 thrashing of Stonesfield in the Premier Division, Jake Howard opened the scoring halfway through the first half with a neat finish, before Bough’s double made it 3-0.

After the break, Paul Spittle and Paul Hedges sealed it.

Oxford University Press won 2-0 at Eynsham, with Kieran Gallagher bagging a brace.

Jay Morris bagged a brace in leaders Garsington’s 5-0 hammering of BCS Bardwell.

Jelroy Constant, Gary Bloomfield and Tom Ganchon completed their tally.

James Keeble scored twice in Horspath’s 4-1 win at Fritwell.

Robbie Eason and Paul Cooper got their others.

Liam Gurdev, Martino Ventriglia and Luke Bremner each hit doubles in Hinksey’s 10-1 thrashing of Eynsham in Division 1.

Craig Bloomfield, with a superb volley, Stevie Haines, Sean Flaherty, and substitute Jerome McCalmon completed the rout.

Substitute Pete Clarke fired a double for Watlington in their 5-2 victory against Middleton Cheney.

Bertie Proctor, Matthew Howitt and substitute Martyn Appleby were also on the mark. Shane Richards and Chris Heritage replied.

Chris Tillcock scored the winner in Broughton & North Newington’s 1-0 victory against Kidlington Old Boys.
