Wallingford head coach Chris Norrington says playing in South West 1 East is definitely worth the fight.
Norrington’s men have found it hard going in their second season at this level, with four wins and six defeats so far.
But having risen to the highest level in their history, Wallingford are relishing life there.
Norrington stressed: “I wouldn’t want to drop down a league. That would definitely be a backward step.
“We’ve got to keep going at this level.
“Before Saturday’s match, nine teams were separated by just three points, so a couple of wins can carry you a long way up the table.”
