Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas has turned down an unofficial approach from Peterborough United for U’s boss Chris Wilder.
Skybet.com made Wilder the 6-4 favourite to take over from Darren Ferguson after his dismissal this week.
But Thomas said Wilder would be staying with the U’s.
“I had a low-key conversation with Barry Fry (Peterborough’s director of football) after Darren Ferguson went. There was a conversation about Chris, but it won’t be going any further.
“He and I have spoken and agree there's a lot of work still do at this football club.”
Meanwhile, United’s Blue Square Premier trip to Forest Green on November 24 has been made all-ticket for away fans. United have been allocated 1,250 terrace places and 455 seats.
