Oxford United were facing a severe test of their championship credentials at Kidderminster as they trailed 2-0 after just 17 minutes.

The Harriers went in front in the second minute, through Robbie Matthews, and a thunderbolt free-kick by Matthew Barnes-Homer 15 minutes later put the home side well in control.

But United hauled themselves back with a penalty from James Constable, his 12th goal of the season, on the half hour.

Sam Deering was brought down by keeper Dean Coleman and Constable sent the keeper the wrong way from the spot.

The U's finished the half strongly, but at half-time Kidderminster were leading 2-1.
