Banbury District & Lord Jersey FA Premier Division champions Bishops Itchington saw off ABK Sports 5-2 in a rehearsal for their Charity Cup final meeting at Easington Sports on Bank Holiday Monday.

Lee Kelly fired the hosts ahead, only for Justin Barnes to level with a tidy finish.

Bishops Itchington, who won the title in midweek, then strolled into a 4-1 lead, with goals from Jordan Cox (2) and Leigh Goode.

Barnes clawed one back before the break.

A cracking strike into the top corner from substitute Tim Cooper wrapped up victory for Bishops Itchington.

Meanwhile, Deddington Town lifted the Eric Morris Cup with a 4-0 stroll against ABK Sports at Ardley United’s Oxford Road ground.

Strikes from Barry Debenham and Mike Large saw Deddington take a 2-0 lead.

After the break, goals from Jordan Kaye and Large’s second wrapped it up for Deddington.

The trophy was presented by Reg Morris, father of Eric, after whose memory the cup is named.
