Mid Oxon Under 15s were edged out 2-1 by Swindon in the Southern League at Marlborough School, Woodstock.
The visitors took the lead with a 25-yard shot into the top corner, and they went further ahead with a penalty awarded for handball in the second half.
Yassin Elouahabi reduced the deficit for Mid Oxon, firing home after Tomasz Mazur’s shot was parried by the Swindon keeper.
Mid Oxon bid to bounce back when they take on Cheltenham & District in the ESFA Trophy third round at Ardley United tomorrow (7pm).
