Zac McEachran scored one goal and created two as Oxfordshire beat Dorset 3-0 to reach the semi-finals of the South West Counties Under 16 Knockout Cup at Oxford City FC.

The Kidlington player took the corner from which Jake Bristow (Crowmarsh) headed powerfully home to open the scoring in the 22nd minute.

They extended their advantage ten minutes later when Ryan Barney (Oxford City) volleyed home after more good work from McEachran.

Oxon goalkeeper Luke Sanders (Kidlington) then produced an excellent save, pushing a deflected shot over the crossbar to preserve the two-goal lead.

They made the game safe in the 58th-minute when McEachran dribbled around two players in the box and shot home powerfully from 15 yards.

Oxfordshire now face Gloucestershire for a place in the final, on a date yet to be decided.
