Oxfordshire were hit by two lates goals as they lost 2-0 at home to Berks & Bucks in the first round of the Mick Parry Cup.
Anthony Mendy (Slough Tn) hit both for the visitors, finsing the net in the 82nd and 84th minutes to sink the youthful hosts.
Oxon matched their opponents in a very even first half, but failed to convert several good chances.
They were grateful, however, to goalkeeper Robbie Nicholson (Witney Utd), who pulled off several fine saves at the other end.
Berks & Bucks were given a great chance to take the lead when Daniel James (Witney) was adjudged to have handled, but Mendy hit the bar with his penalty.
After the break Nicholson denied Mendy at full stretch before the striker finally made the breakthrough eight minutes from time when crashing home a volley.
He tapped in from close range two minutes later to compound Oxon’s misery.
