Wootton & Dry Sandford missed the chance to go top of Division 1 of the North Berks League after a surprise 2-0 defeat by Kintbury Rangers.
With Didcot Casuals not in action, a win would have seen Wootton replace them as leaders, but goals from Scott Bowers and Duane Young ended their 100 per cent record.
And to compound Wootton’s misery Jonathan Weir suffered a broken collarbone, which rules him out for up to six weeks.
Lambourn Sports went top with a 6-0 demolition of Childrey United, thanks to hat-tricks for Adrian Mooney and Tom Goodey.
Saxton Rovers are just a point behind the new leaders after a 4-1 win at Faringdon Town. Michael Beal, Danny Parry, Ben Sutton and Kyle Allsworth scored their goals.
Martin Francis had scored a first-half equaliser for Faringdon.
At the other end of the table, Harwell Village lost 4-0 at AFC Wallingford, for whom Bradley Fraser (2), Tom Collins and Mike Butcher were on target.
