Oxford United centre back Mark Creighton last night put the finishing touches to a deal to join Blue Square Premier Bet side Wrexham on loan until January.
Creighton, 29, watched Wrexham’s 1-0 victory over Luton Town on Thursday night and was in talks yesterday with Dragons’ boss and former U’s striker Dean Saunders about a move to the Racecourse Ground.
Creighton has been added to the Wrexham squad for Sunday's trip to York City.
He could make his debut with defender Frank Sinclair struggling with a strain.
