Chris Wilder is as low as 14-1 with bookmakers to be the next Sheffield United manager.
Following the appointment of Gary Speed as the new Wales boss, the Blades are looking for their second new manager in four months.
Oxford United chief Wilder, who was linked with the job earlier this season, is a former Sheffield United captain.
He signed an improved three-year contract with the U’s earlier this season after leading to club to promotion last campaign.
