Joe Cockroft took 6-29 and Chris Panter 4-21 as Wallingford were walloped by Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd in Division 4 of the MP Sports Cherwell League.

The hosts were rolled over for only 51 in reply to Shipton’s 159 all out, Tim Senior making 62 and Paul Hemming 42. Warren Ainsworth took 5-38.

Adam Jones (6-74) took four wickets in 11 balls – including three from four deliveries – as Cumnor 2nd dismissed Great & Little Tew 2nd for 142, Kevin Taylor hitting 67.

The home side then succumbed for 104.

Kimble’s Dave Needham took 8-25 as Oxford 3rd were rolled over for 88.

Muneeb Rashid (3-10) made Kimble work hard for their win, but Greg Kyson (50no) saw them to 93-5.

Ryan Gurton claimed 6-33 for Stokenchurch at Buckingham Town 2nd, who finished on 217-9 thanks in the main to Graham Judd (71) and Alex Odell (39no).

Jack Duffy then hit 80 for the visitors, who had to settle for a draw on 197-8.

Sam Shearer (79no) and Neil Davies (40no) sealed Chearsley’s seven-wicket win at Leighton Buzzard Town.

The hosts managed 147-9 from their 53 overs as Ejaz Ahmad (3-32) and Davies (3-42) kept it tight, then the leaders eased to 151-3.
