Aston Rowant will host one-day international women’s cricket next Thursday as part of a tournament involving England, Australia, India and New Zealand.
The NatWest Women’s Quadrangular Series gets under way tomorrow, with England hosting India at Derby and Australia facing New Zealand at Chesterfield.
July 7 will see Wormsley host whichever match England are playing in, with Rowant the venue for the other tie.
Letters have been sent to local schools and clubs offering free tickets for groups of up to eight juniors – accompanied by an adult – at Rowant, provided they email liam.brown@ecb.co.uk by Monday.
Tickets are £5 in advance for adults and £1 for under 16s.
TIDDINGTON filled the last place in the Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup third round with a 72-run win over Abingdon Vale.
Will Goodman (47) and Jon Talbot (30) led Tiddington to 160-7 from their 20 overs, before Abingdon were restricted to 88-7.

SOUTH Oxfordshire Amateurs’ first venture into Twenty20 cricket proved a successful one with a 79-run victory over hosts Exeter College.
Rob Hazleton’s aggressive 53 led the way as the SOA rattled up a massive 222-8 from their 20 overs.
Support came from Ollie Willis (42), Giles Blanchard (35) and Jeff Higgs (34).
Exeter College’s reply, led by Mohammad Khan’s 39, fell short at 143-8.
