A 150-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Matthew Warner (93) and Marco Cecchini (65) propelled Kingston Bagpuize to victory over Dinton 2nd.

Bagpuize won with two balls left, chasing Dinton’s 225-7, which saw 45 from Faisal Ali and 4-62 from Warner.

Steve Roberts (6-26) and Will Sandbach (4-13) saw leaders Oxford Downs 2nd humble Hanborough for only 88.

Downs eventually found their way to 94-5.

Bicester & North Oxford have won only one of their past ten games after a three-wicket home loss to Twyford.

Darren Bartlett made 36 in Bicester’s 145, with Andrew Cook taking 4-10.

Steve Conway then took 3-7, but Tanveer Hussain (35no) steered Twyford to 150-7 .

Witney Mills’ dismal run continued when they were rolled over for 91 at Cropredy, Wayne Hazel taking 4-43 and James Coleman 3-6 from seven overs.

The hosts lost two batsmen early on, but Joe Fox (50no) and Luke Cherry (36no) saw them home by eight wickets.

Mills face Dinton 2nd this week in a crunch relegation match.

Phillip Brooks (53) and James Stevens (31) scored the bulk of Bledlow Ridge’s runs in their three-wicket derby defeat to Bledlow Village. The visitors were all out for 143 as Mark King took 3-28 and Chris Spooner 3-33.

Charlie Downes then struck 41 in the hosts’ reply, which stuttered its way to 144-7.
