Crowmarsh leapfrogged to the top of Division 1 with a 2-1 victory at Childrey United.

Phil Hedges and Liam Currell scored for Crowmarsh, with Alan Haines finding the net for Childrey.

The top teams at the start of the day – Didcot Casuals and Wootton & Dry Sandford – drew 2-2 to slip to fourth and fifth respectively.

Lawrence Hoey scored two early second-half goals for Casuals, but Wootton responded through a Ben Taylor double and nearly snatched it when Tom Larman’s 25-yard shot hit the bar.

Saxton Rovers are second – level on points with Crowmarsh – after a 5-2 win against Drayton, with two own goals and strikes by Benny Sutton, Frankie Haines and Mike Young. Ryan Seamark and Matt Lyford replied.

Faringdon Town are also level on points with a 4-1 home victory over Harwell Village. Paul Hulme, Louis Bouwers, Derren Harrington and Chris Benson scored their goals, with Gareth Fenton netting for Harwell.

Long Wittenham Athletic eased to a 4-1 home win over East Hendred, with Dan Osbourne (2), Andy Marriott and Adam Bailey. Lewis Monahan hit back for Hendred.

Steventon Res took over at the top of Division 4 East with a 7-3 win against Blewbury Res, thanks to goals from Stuart Coppock (3), Dave Neale (3)and Anthony Cooper.

Dan Garlick, Steve Belcher and Joel Mumby scored for Blewbury.

Division 4 sides Radley United and Hanney United caused upsets in the War Memorial Cup second round.

Radley won 4-1 at Benson Lions with Joe Fairhurst, Adam Cooke, Andrew McLuckie and Darryl Potter netting, with Liam Wilkinson replying.

Hanney won 5-3 after extra time at ten-man Marcham, with Jordan Wilkinson (2), Neil Pimm, Joe Richardson and Sam Bishop all scoring. Shane Northcott (2) and Pat Clark replied.

Grove Rangers thrashed Appleton Stars 9-0, with goals from Matt Cramp (3), Mike Davies (2), John Gould, Grant Summersby, Joe Courtney and Dean Cravene.

Mark Ingram netted five times and Dave Murphy four as Berinsfield routed Hagbourne United 11-0. Brian Rawlings and Andy Samson sealed it.

Jonny Eudell hit a hat-trick for Division 2 side Ardington & Lockinge in their 4-1 win at Westminster. Jonny James got the other, with Lewis Gosling netting for the Division 4 East side.
