Martin Hall grabbed a late equaliser as Stonesfield hit back for a 4-4 draw against ten-man Oxford Irish in an incident-packed Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division clash.

Early on, Irish’s goalkeeper Ryan Davies went off with a dislocated shoulder, with forward Piers McGlynn taking over.

Despite the blow, Irish went ahead through Thomas Conway, only to go a man down when Rio Maldini-Cadle was sent off for handling, with Mike Phipps putting away the resulting penalty.

Tim Wyatt fired Stonesfield in front, but Conway’s second restored parity.

After the break, Wyatt completed his double to give Stonesfield a 3-2 advantage, but Conway wrapped-up his treble to bring his side level again.

Gareth Spackman restored Irish’s lead, but five minutes from time, Hall smashed in Stonesfield’s equaliser.

Kennington edged to a 1-0 win at Adderbury Park, thanks to a Rob Cattell’s 88th-minute penalty winner.

Skipper Chris Johnson scored a last-gasp leveller as Launton Sports fought back for a 1-1 draw at Horspath.

Phillips made a string of fine saves, before Tony Bott scored the winner five minutes from time with a cool finish from Jack Eley’s cut-back.

Watlington broke their duck as they leapfrogged fellow-strugglers Long Crendon with a 2-1 success.

Patrick Sloane lobbed Crendon ahead, with Conor Bilayachi levelling.
