Didcot Town manager Dave Mudge says he will not put up with a repeat of the display in their 2-0 midweek defeat against Halesowen when they travel to Poole in Division 1 South & West tomorrow.

Mudge was hoping his side would build on Saturday’s 1-0 win against Mangotsfield, but instead will wield the axe after a poor show against the Midlanders.

“There will be changes to the squad and possibly the management structure because I’m not having it,” said Mudge.

“I was not impressed and it will be dealt with it in-house.”

He added: “The players didn’t turn up. It’s the worst performance since I’ve been here and we were lucky it was only 2-0.

“When the players put on a Didcot shirt I expect them to wear it with pride.

“You have to give credit to the opposition, but to my mind it was a home banker.”

North Leigh boss Mark Gee has warned his sixth-placed side to expect a tough battle against visitors Taunton.

Tuesday’s results moved them up to sixth without even playing a game.

Gee said: “Although they are mid-table, they have lost only one of their last eight games.

“They held Gosport to a draw last week and beat Paulton on Monday.

North Leigh will be without injured duo Sam Parrish and Andy McCabe.

Abingdon United give a late fitness test to Michael Buck ahead of their trip to Bishops Cleeve.

Buck pulled out of Tuesday’s game against Gosport Borough five minutes before kick-off with an ankle injury.

Although Abingdon lost the game 2-0, boss Richie Bourne said the decision by the referee not to send off the Gosport keeper for taking out Sam Collier as he went for goal was crucial.

“We were 1-0 down and chasing the game. If he had gone, we might well have won the game.”

Abingdon will be without skipper Ricky Allaway (unavailable). Tomorrow’s squads North Leigh (v Taunton, home): from Warrell, Hole, Organ, Clark, Franklin, Caton, Reardon, Bowles, Williams, Osborne-Ricketts, Hopkins, Sanders, Parish, Burnell, Crudup, Mills.

Abingdon Utd (v Bishops Cleeve, away): from J Foster, Buck, Smith, Carnell, Young, Evans, Kingsbeer, Packer, Collier, Seaward, Parfitt, Angell, Christodoulou.
